About North Haven

The village is almost entirely residential, with no commercial center other than the ferry terminal at its northern end. State Route 114 runs the length of the peninsula, crossing the bridge from Sag Harbor and ending at the South Ferry slip. Large wooded lots and waterfront association roads make up most of the village's housing stock, with parcels fronting Sag Harbor Cove, Noyac Bay, and Shelter Island Sound. The combination of an older long-tenured ownership pattern and a small year-round population means estate sales here are infrequent but tend to be substantial when they do come up.
